South Africa’s UKZN pushes Covid-19 research

The spread of the coronavirus in South Africa led to more than 1.5 million infections so far, with nearly 50,000 deaths. The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) is at the forefront of research to stop the viral transmission. The UKZN Foundation received a $653,762.00 grant from its American Friends Fund to support COVID-19 research and data analysis at the University.
