Established in 1992 and housed in the HIV Unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Barcelona, Fundación Lucha contra el Sida provides comprehensive care and long-term treatment for HIV patients. It received a $48,526 grant from its Fight AIDS Foundation – American Fund, to implement new treatment strategies and HIV drug resistance analysis in Hospital Carmelo in southern Mozambique.
